The party had just barely survived  taking on 4 Sword Wraiths and then a fifth one. Pyreece had fallen but was bandaged and after resting the remainder of the evening woke up. The party was very weak. The towns people showed up to thank them. They talked to the towns people and found out that their could be 5 or more of these things still out there. They weren't going to be healed enough to take them on again by the next night. Someone suggested that they probably come from some burial mounds a mile or so outside of town. It was suggested that they go there and confront them. The party agreed that would probably be best but in their current state, they would likely not survive. Elenor asked if there was a temple in town. They told them about the local temple and where it was. They went there seeking healing.

When they got there, they found a religion that honors a pacifist god named Eldath. They spoke to a priest and asked about buying some potions. They picked up a bunch of potions of extra healing. They also picked up a few potions of cure light wounds. They asked about getting direct healing on the spot an restoration for the strength points they lost in the fight. When the priest found out what they'd done to come by these injuries, he thanked them and cut the regular price for the services in half. Some got fully healed with a heal spell and some used cure light or critical wounds to get healed. He also used lesser restorations spells on many of them to remove the strength losses they took from the Sword Wraiths. They paid and thanked the priests. They then set out for the burial mounds.

They arrive only an hour or so later and began making their way through the area. They approached a good sized mound with a door that was not closed. They carefully entered. Pyreece and Audra carried torches. Kipp led the way. They entered a small chamber with a statue on the far side and two rooms off of it, one eastern and one western. The eastern room had an alter but nothing else. As Oglesby and Brandy approached the western room, they were attacked by two Sword Wraiths. Brandy was in melee combat and though she was an excellent melee warrior, Audra felt her talents were better with the bow. Kipp leaped over the group and came up behind the wraiths while Audra inserted her body shield between Brandy and the wraiths allowing her to safely back away while Audra moved up to take her place. Brandy was able to pull her bow and really reek havoc. Kipp fought the two wraiths from behind while Oglesby and Audra fought them head on. Elenor threw a magic missile at them while Pyreece tried to turn them. She failed. Selson came running into the main chamber to assess what was happening. Elenor then put a Flaming Sphere on the back of one of them.

During the next round, two more of the Sword Wraiths showed up behind Kipp with heavy crossbows. Kipp turned to deal with them. Most to the fighters and mages focused on the wraith in front of Oglesby while Audra took on the other. After a short time, a fifth Sword Wraiths came into view and all three of the wraiths in the room converged on Kipp. Selson teleported behind the wraiths on Kipp and cast a Burning Hands spell and caught two of the wraiths in it. Meanwhile one of the Sword Wraiths at the doorway fell and Oglesby moved behind the other and Pyreece moved in to attack one of the wraiths on Kipp. They finished off the wraith in the doorway but by this time, Kipp was not doing very well. Single handedly taking on three of them was brave but he was on the verge of falling. Pyreece paused her attack to cast a cure light wounds on Kipp while he drank a potion. By this time Audra and Oglesby had begun targeting the wraiths around Kipp. Brandy and Oglesby took up positions to attack with bow and sling. Kipp, Pyreece, Audra, and Tony stood toe to toe with them. Selson produced flaming balls to throw and Elenor moved her flaming sphere onto the back of one of them. Within a short time, they finished the Sword Wraiths off. 

Pyreece healed Kipp quite a bit and they explored the rooms a little before they left. They found nothing in or on the statue. There was nothing on the alter in the other room. They did find gold and gems sprinkled about. Some of the gold coins were obviously very old. In the back corner of the room with the wraiths, they found the body of someone that seemed to be a rogue. They took everything off of him. They did find a few items that were interesting. They gathered all of the Sword Wraith's equipment and the thief's items and Elenor cast a detect magic on it. She explained the process to Selson as she did it so Selson could learn how to cast it. The Sword Wraiths items all glowed as before. The thief had a pearl that glowed, and a ring. They discussed searching the rest of the mounds but were beaten down pretty badly and decided to return to town and get healed and restored again. They sold the items. Audra and Pyreece each kept a cloak of protection for times when they weren't wearing their armor. Elenor cast a Identify of the items and discovered that they found a Pearl of Wisdom and a Ring of Jumping. That is all I remembered about that.

That is where this session stopped.
