Summary
The party decided to head to the Elredd Inn and get a good nights rest. The next day, they explored the town a little more. They walked by a bunch of different types of shops from tailors to clothiers, bowyers to leather workers, blacksmiths to weapon shops, and even three temples. One temple to Saint Cuthbert, another temple to Heironeous, and another temple to another god whose name they had forgotten already. The went back to the temple of Saint Cuthbert. They'd hoped to get information about the slavers and the Lotus Dragons.
Father Turose told them that the Lord of this town was Tannier. He was a warrior at one time that put together an army to protect the town and the area around it from the creatures that lived around here and sometimes attacked. He built an army and was successful in defending and protecting the town. He was also ruthless in making sure those drafted into service fought and didn't run from the fight or shirk their duties. Those that did were jailed and executed.
Safeton was run by another such Lord. It was a much bigger town than Elredd. They asked him about some potions. They bought his last two Extra Healings, two Healings, and two Neutralize Poisons. They also ate at a nicer tavern, the Glittering “something”. The quality of food was much better than the Broken Rudder.
While they were out and about, some children ran by. Elenor felt a slight tug at a pocket and reached to make sure no one made off with anything. They instead left something, a note. She opened it. It read;

Ladies,
Please see the undertaker near the Broken Rudder. In his presence utter the phrase, “I need to tinkle!”. He will escort you to the proper facilities.

They made their way to the undertakers shop and entered. They were greeted by Nemian. Audra spoke the pass phrase and Nemian indicated that he knew who they wanted to see. He told them that he was to take only two of them back there and they had to be unarmed. At first, Audra felt that Brandy should be one of the two, but then there was a quick discussion about how dangerous this could be. Elenor felt it was likely a trap. They finally told Nemian that they would all go and not unarmed but offered him a guarantee, that they would not use their weapons. He told them that would not work and that they should leave. Brandy tried to intimidate him but he would have none of that. He simply said that if they didn't leave, he would call the town guard and have them removed. Audra told him to tell her that they'd be back at the bar if she wanted to talk.
They returned to the Broken Rudder. If she wanted to talk with them, she could come here and talk in a public place. They stayed for the rest of the day but Rowyn never showed. They went back to the inn and spent the night again. The next morning, they returned to the tavern and ate and then decided that Rowyn must not be interested in working with them anymore so they should head to Highport to find the slavers and hopefully Dame Gold and the others. They thought that using their boat to get to the town might be less messy and much quicker.
They went down to the port and looked for their boat. It was gone. They went to the Harbor Masters Office and asked about it. He wanted the boat's registration number. They hadn't bought the boat so they had no paperwork, only the name “I can't remember, something about Vomit”. The Harbor Master didn't know where their boat was. After much debate over it, they accepted that their boat had been taken and that they had to make other arrangements. They asked about renting or buying a boat. He offered them a simple row boat. He had nothing with sails.
They decided to travel by land. They went to some stables to rent or buy horses. The town only had a couple of horses left. They decided they would have to hoof it. They picked up some last minute supplies, preparing to head out. Elenor, at one point, reached into her pocket and found another note. This one read;

It would seem you have declined my offer and so with great disappointment it is rescinded. I presume Highport will be your next stop. So I offer this fragment of information to aid you.
There was one before you. He came to us seeking his cousin. Unlike you, he brought gold instead of swords. He wanted information about the slaving operation. By himself he had no hope of rescuing his loved one through brute force so.. he chose guile. He joined up so to speak. Became a member of the crew of the Ghoul. Sailed to Highport with a shipment a few months ago. He of course, went AWOL, shortly after the shipment was completed and has not been seen again. He seemed clever enough and if he lives, could have information on the Slavelords operations in Highport by now. His name is Feador. Dark haired. Clean shaven, well spoken. Which should stand out in a place like that.
There.. That should get you on your way to rescuing your friend.

The finished collecting supplies and headed out of town, on foot, heading south. They walked a good distance that first day and set up camp that night. They had a fire and a raised perch from which to keep watch. Brandy watched first, followed by Kipp, and then by Audra. They heard some drumming in the distance but nothing close by.
The next day they travelled again and that night, the camped out. The first two watches went by without incident. Around 5:00 in the morning, while it was still dark out, Audra heard movement. She positioned herself between the sound of the movement and the camp and notched an arrow. She listened and kept hearing movement but finally decided it was moving south. Unable to see anything, she woke up Brandy as she moved to a better position to be between them creature or creatures and the camp.
Brandy snuck off in front of her trying to get a look at what was moving around out there. She finally spied four goblins with buckets moving north like they had maybe gathered water. They were very sneaky and careful. They seem to be extra worried about the camp to their west. While watching them, Brandy heard something in the trees. In looking around, she spied a cat like creature with two tentacles moving though the trees above. She'd never seen a cat move through trees like that.
That's when Brandy realized that the cat had turned it's focus to her. She backed out of the area but kept watching the cat. When she backed up to Audra's position, they made their way back to camp. They waited and watched the eastern woods, listening carefully. About 20-30 minutes later, there was suddenly a lot of screaming coming from northeast of them. First there were many screaming, then a few, and then only one. Shortly after that, the screaming stopped. They'd guessed the goblins didn't fare well.
That morning, they let everyone know what had taken place. They gathered their gear and set out. The next night, they stopped at a crossroads. They spent the night and heard drumming sounds. The drumming stopped around 11:00. After Kipp took over the watch, he felt and odd sensation that made him very uneasy. He heard the sound of leathery wings overhead. It was high overhead. He was able to catch a glimpse of a massive winged creature flying about a hundred feet above. It came in over the water, and then banked north following the shoreline out of sight. He was sure it was a dragon. It was bigger than the blue dragon they had dealt with before.
They rest of the night passed without incident. The next morning he told the rest about the dragon. They set out again. Later in the day they came across two men moving quickly north. When the men saw the group, they waved and called out for help. When they got together, they told them that they were being chased by what seemed to be, very angry gnomes. There had been others with them but they had all fallen. The two of them were all that were left of their group. They gave the two men some rations and told them that they way north to Elredd had been clear when they came down it. They also gave them a little gold as the gnomes had taken everything else they had. The men warned them to not go south but they had to in order to get to Highport.
The two men continued north while the party moved south. A little further down the road, they spotted some little creatures on the road and in the surrounding woods. As they got closer, they recognized them as gnomes. They did appear very angry. They didn't attacked them immediately which they were thankful about as there were a lot more of them than they first saw. There were around a hundred of them. One of them approached and began talking to them in broken common. Ningel was his name. He was with Deagle, Fizzlebang, and Bangfizzle.
He was angry and hated humans for what they had done to him and his people. Brandy did the talking and they seemed okay with her. They weren't so distrustful of Kipp either but the rest of the party was human and they didn't liking humans right now. As they talked, many of the gnomes started changing their appearance to look like the various party members. It was unnerving and obviously meant to create confusion should a fight break out. Brandy kept everyone calm and found that they were searching for the two men they had just passed.
Brandy asked why they were hunting the two men. Ningel told them that the men had tested their water and told them there was something harmful in it. They told them that they had a cure and gave them a powder that was supposed to deal with it. They later found out it was actually supposed to be addicting and make them want more of it. It instead make them sick and gave them the runs. They figured out what was going on and were now out to get the men. They asked Brandy if she'd seen them and she told them yes, that they were north on the road.
Ningel didn't trust her at first and told her that he wanted one of the mages to cast a spell to verify that she was telling the truth. Brandy agreed to allow it. After the spell was cast, they questioned her again and were satisfied with her answers. They told them a little about Highport and the Slavelords. Highport was run by a council of nine. Most of them didn't live in Highport, only a couple of them did. They told them it was a very dangerous place. That's why they don't go there anymore. They thanked Brandy for helping them and then left to chase down the two men.
The party decided to rest here for the night. They heard some drumming and then some howling that sounded a little like creatures communicating with each other. The next day they rose and set out. They came to another fork in the road where they were assaulted by 10 gnolls. Kipp ran up and dropped one before it had a chance to attack. Brandy ran up to one on a rise over looking the road. Audra ran south to one down by the river. Two more ran up on Kipp and others moved up with bows and began firing on them. Pyreece moved up beside Kipp to tackle one of the two on him. Elenor moved up but stayed back behind her party and cast a magic missile at one of them. Oglesby fired on the one on Brandy.
They dropped several more of them quickly and the rest fled. Kipp was free and chased after one of them. Brandy moved up and fired one them. Pyreece tried to keep up with one but her heavy armor kept her back a little. The one she chased got way. She stopped trying to catch him and turned back to rejoin Kipp. He had already dropped another one and was looking for more to kill. They heard a lot of howling in the distance, a lot. They finally decided to regroup back at the fork in the road. They searched the gnolls they'd killed there. They found that they bore a mark identifying them as members of the “Bleeding Moon” gnolls.
This is where the session ended.
